The Troubleshooting – Collection Evaluation report saves the admin time and frustration from having to search though several pages trying to find out collection information. This will provide on demand information at the push of a button. This report is especially helpful in the scenario where a customer site has concerns about how to approach collection clean up. I’ve seen countless environments where the admin would create collections for reporting and leave them around long after they are not used. No longer will the admin have to perform multiple complex SQL queries to identify information in this report. Use this report to quickly provide management insights into the environment with the push of a button.

The Troubleshooting – Collection Evaluation report really excels in highlighting overall collection information. It is very helpful to have a count of collections w/ no deployment, or even empty members to track your clean up progress. There is a section to inform the admin what the evaluation schedules look like, as well as tell you the collection update type. We also provide information for how long each collection took to evaluate, as well as highlight the total orphan collections (if any).
